Six Individuals Detained Following €12 Million Armed Raid on Gold Processing Laboratory in the French Republic

A group of six individuals using assault rifles and handguns used explosive devices to force entry into a gold treatment facility located in Lyon, slightly injuring five workers during what is being called the latest high-profile broad daylight robbery to affect the country.

The daring raid occurred on Thursday afternoon, with officers quickly arresting the individuals believed responsible and retrieving the loot valued at approximately €12M (10.5 million pounds), officials reported.

Five workers of Laboratoires Pourquery sustained minor injuries as a result of the detonation, and three individuals required hospital checks for assessment, the regional prefecture announced. A total of twenty-eight staff were at the location when the thieves struck.
