Los Angeles witnessed citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
